What this site collects

Stack Notebook has no accounts, no comments, and no newsletter. There is nothing to sign up for, so there is no database of readers.

The site is served by Cloudflare Pages. Cloudflare processes basic request data — IP address, browser type, page requested — to deliver pages and block abuse. That’s standard hosting behaviour and I don’t have access to it as a per-reader record.

There is no analytics tool on this site at the moment. If I add one, it will be named here.

Cookies

This site sets no cookies of its own.

If you click an affiliate link, the destination company’s affiliate network may set a cookie in your browser so it can attribute a later signup to this site. That cookie belongs to them, is governed by their privacy policy, and typically expires after a set window. You can block or clear it in your browser at any time — it changes nothing about the price you pay or the service you get.

The network used here is impact.com. If I join others, they’ll be listed here.

Articles link out to vendor pages, documentation and review sites. Once you follow a link, that site’s own privacy policy applies, not this one.

Your rights

Since the site keeps no reader records, there is normally nothing to access, correct or delete. If you’ve emailed me, that message sits in my mailbox — write to ry438474@gmail.com and I’ll delete it on request.

Children

This site is written for people evaluating software for work. It isn’t directed at children and doesn’t knowingly collect information from them.

Changes

If this policy changes, the “last reviewed” date above changes with it.
